I decided to mix it up a little today and pull out my fabric stash. This is one of my favorite techniques to do using an embellishing machine and punching the little fabric squares down. Then stitch over the top using a decorative stitch. I then added fibers to the side. I thought it would be fun to make it a hanging quiltie. Oh this is lovely. That image is so striking with the protectiveness of the older girl. Beautiful use of fabric and stitching....oh I am inspired.
